    Text Box: Welcome to the Coleman Elementary web site. The elementary school consists of an early childhood program, an alternate day junior kindergarten program, and kindergarten through 5th grade. The strength of our school lies in its highly qualified staff. The majority of our teachers have advanced credits and degrees combined with many years of experience. In addition to our regular classroom teachers, we also have a strong field of art, music, physical education, special education teachers, and guidance counselor. Helping make the school stronger is a fine group of seasoned para-professionals and support staff that work with our students in many ways. The educational emphasis is based on a strong curriculum utilizing the most recent texts, teaching methods, and technology. The regular instruction is supplemented with programs such as Title I, Accelerated Reader, MAPS and “Fast ForWord”. Our academic learning center is supported by a library/media center, computer labs, music and art rooms, and a gym with a climbing wall. We also have an on-site environmental center used for a wide variety of educational and recreational activities. We have an atmosphere at Coleman Elementary that make our students feel safe, secure, and eager to learn. We want our students to feel good about themselves and others.
